Vegan Street Food Tour in Mexico City
The vegan street food tour in Mexico City: all you can eat in 3.5 hours, what you taste, where it starts, the price, and tours with a vegetarian menu.
Yes, there is a vegan street food tour in Mexico City, and it is all you can eat. Traveling Herbivore’s All-You-Can-Eat Vegan & Vegetarian Street Food tour takes 3.5 hours for up to 10 people, with Metrobus tickets and one drink (agua fresca, beer or water) included, from $96 (checked November 2026). The other food tours on this site offer a vegetarian menu at best, and the Sherpa taco tour has no vegan one.
Free cancellation runs until 24 hours before. Extra drinks, souvenirs and tips are not included. The tour is not suitable for people over 75.
What you eat

Vegan tacos (chicharron, al pastor and suadero), quesadillas, tlacoyos, sopes, tortas de milanesa, vegan seafood and churros, at street food stalls and family-run places in four very different neighbourhoods. The walk covers about 4.5 to 5 km on foot, with one short ride on public transport, and ends in the Zona Rosa, where you can have a beer if you wish. Gluten-free guests are catered for.
One thing a strict vegan should know: one stop shares its grill with meat. The stall usually cleans the grill for the group, and you can ask to skip that stop.
The walk starts in front of the Hilton Mexico City Reforma on Avenida Juarez, on the western edge of the Centro Historico. Traveling Herbivore also sells it on Viator as the Mexico City Vegan & Vegetarian Street Food Adventure, rated 4.8 from 202 reviews (checked November 2026), at 14:30 on weekdays and 12:30 at weekends.

On the taco tours a vegetarian menu is something you ask for when you book, and you walk the same route as the group. For a vegan there is no such menu, and the Herbivore walk is the only tour on this site built round your food. The taco crawl with a chef host (Tasting Mexico Tours) is not for vegans or vegetarians, and Food Hood’s night bike tour is not for vegans.
